Offbeat Music Production

"There are as many different approaches to music production as there are styles of music. Here at Offbeat set formulas are never applied - each piece of music or song is appraised on it's own merit and a production method is devised after discussion with the artist. From that angle I've been able to work in many styles including: dance, acoustic, indie rock, rock, jazz, folk, world and classical.
If a composition doesn't require changing then I don't interfere just for the sake of it. On the other hand if a radical approach will improve things then suggestions will be made - but always in a consensual way.
As a producer I enjoy colloborations and I avoid a dictatorial role. I'm always aware whos name and face will be on the record, and that after the recording is over the production has to represent the artist properly.
Listen to a few production examples
I believe that anyone should be able to have a go at making a record. Some songwriters I work with are in a professional career, others are just curious to hear how there ideas will sound with full production and don't necessarily want to sell their ideas or make a career out of music - a good enough reason to make a recording in my opinion.
The tracks on the ipod player are some random examples of different productions from record releases to tracks created just for fun. The quest for quality and an authentic sound is there in every one.
If you don't hear the style that would suit your own then drop me a line on the how to work with us section and I will send some examples of the music you require if I have them.
I'm always open to new challenges and would welcome involvement in your musical project ".
