more about Offbeat

"In 2002, during my stint with Jimi, I was invited to compose and co-produce music for The Algarve's biggest ever theatre arts performance event Fulgor with producer of the show Beau McClellan. The job entailed me designing and building a Logic Audio based studio with Beau in the Algarve and writing 45 minutes of music for the one off show which was funded by a Sheikh on the 18th hole of a hallowed golf course which was dug up and converted into a four stage set for the show.

Bringing us up the present day, as well as continuing to work with many songwriters and singers in a wide array of styles, I'm also working on pop songs with ex Bay City Roller Pat McGlynn on an album for SONY/BMG in Japan. Pat had 10 no1 singles as a solo artist post Rollers and is experiencing a resurgence of his career there now. I'm co-writing and playing Bass and Guitar with Pat, who is an old pal I first worked with way back in 1984 at Edinburgh's Planet studios on a doomed Rollers revival album with the original line up (minus Woody).
